Every once in a while an idea comes along that is so profound, so powerful, so awesome that it appears
destined to make its mark on the generations to follow. Living Stone Foundation has become such an idea.
This idea, however, was not conceived deliberately, nor was it born of premeditation. We believe it was
reserved in the mind of God for this time and this place. This idea has given birth to a vision, the
vision has become a mission, and the mission is this - to write the Word of God in
stone (Proverbs 29:18).
Some archaeologists proclaim, "History is written in stone." Here, the Word of the Living God who
allowed that history to exist is being engraved in stone. It has been said: "Truth is the mother
of faith." In the gospel of John, the Evangelist proclaims that God's Word is truth
(John 17:17).
We at Living Stone Foundation believe that we are witness to something that is eternal - the Word of God
(1 Peter 1:25,
Mark 13:31).
Down through the centuries, the name of Jesus has endured because "He is the embodiment of every ideal
that every culture has ever pursued". The hope that Christ gives is the knowledge that in every man
these noble virtues exist: love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance
(Galatians 5:22-23). These
are the fruits of the Spirit.
It has also been said, "What you do in life echoes through eternity." We feel confident that what God is
doing through us will echo to the generations to come. Here Christ is set forth as a refuge for sinners.
Here people can find solace and come together in civility and peace to honor and give glory to Jesus Christ,
that His name may endure forever (Exodus 3:15,
Phillipians 2:9-11). In this life, we are either serving a purpose or we are serving time. When a man finds his purpose, nothing
stops him! Our purpose is to lead people to Christ. We here at Living Stone Foundation are convinced and committed to preserve the commission of the
gospel of Jesus Christ. We have chosen to do so in stone, that "a
generation yet to be born may praise the Lord" (Psalm 102:18,
Psalm 78:6-7).
We are grateful to God and thankful to all who support and encourage our effort. We praise God for the
many lives that have already been touched. Please pray for us!
